DCT Swiss Hotel & Business Management School

DCT was founded in 1991 and had its first intake of 20 international students in January of 1992. From this small beginning, the school has expanded its program offerings and grown to its present size. During this time, DCT has educated men and women from over 45 different nations, with over a thousand graduates earning the valued DCT Diploma. DCT alumni hold leading positions in top hotels, restaurants and tourism organizations around the world.
The DCT campus is located in the charming village of Vitznau , on the shores of the famous Lake Lucerne, just 20 km from the center of Lucerne - busy tourism region.
Outside of class time, Vitznau offers a variety of sports and leisure activities throughout the year, including swimming, hiking, tennis, golf, biking, beaches and windsurfing in the summer.
Students are accommodated in double or large triple hotel-style rooms. At no addition fee, students can stay on campus during the vacations between terms, and can enjoy all meals seven days per week.
DCT Swiss Hotel & Business Management School offers study opportunities for a recognized American Bachelor's Degree, Diploma (DCT`s On Campus University Partner), MBA and Post-Graduate programs in Hospitality & Tourism Management.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
A completed and signed DCT Application Form.
A completed DCT Medical Certificate.
A CHF 100.00 non-refundable application fee by sending either a bank draft or the receipt from an electronic transfer.
Original or certified copy of High School Diploma, with an official English translation if in another language.
Proof of appropriate English language skills by either:
Being a native English-speaker and indicating this on the Application Form.
Providing official confirmation that all of their High School Diploma studies or Bachelor Degree/College Diploma studies were completed in English.
Providing a score report of a recognized English test showing results of at least 500 on the paper-based TOEFL or 61 on the Internet-based TOEFL, 575 TOEIC, 5.0 IELTS, Cambridge First Certificate, etc. (MBA applicants should refer to the higher language requirements noted below.)
A copy of the detail page(s) or main information page(s) of your passport.
Four recent, color passport photographs (3.5 x 4.5 cm)
If you are applying for the MBA program, you should also submit:
• Original or certified copies of academic transcripts and certificates, diplomas, or degrees from their prior institutes of higher education, with official English translations if in another language.
• A work experience certificate detailing your main job responsibilities. (If you have not yet completed at least 6 months of work experience in any field, this requirement may be completed immediately following your on-campus studies).
• If you are not a native English speaker, include the results of a recognized English test showing results of at least 550 on the paper-based TOEFL or 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL, 650 TOEIC, 6.0 IELTS, Cambridge First Certificate, etc. Alternatively, you may provide proof that you have completed all of your High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree studies in English.
• A reference letter.

FEE INFORMATION
DCT School Fees include: tuition, full board, full room and board during term breaks, airport pick-up for new students, and Paid Work Experience placement assistance. While at least the first two terms of your program must be paid in advance (or three terms if you are also enrolling in the Foundation English language program).

Students are normally accommodated in standard double or large triple rooms. Single and Deluxe Double rooming options are available at an additional charge as listed below. All charges are per person, and per three-month academic term, and this additional payment is to be made upon your arrival on campus.
