CERAN has over 30 years of experience. It was founded in Spa in 1975. The centre offers courses for adults, young adults from 18 to 22 and young people from 10 to 18. 11 languages taught: French, English, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese. CERAN has 7 centres across Europe: Belgium, France, England, Spain.
 
Language Courses offered from CERAN

Immersion for adults – intensive residential language courses for over 30 years.

Programmes - different courses for one or several full weeks for Adults over 30’s. The four CERAN centres are open all year round, including public holidays, for intensive residential language courses lasting a week or more. Every day is made up of 9 learning periods.

Packages - CERAN has developed individual language training plans for you. These are very thorough, useful frameworks for learning.

Immersion for young adults

The language immersion programs for young adults are created especially for students from the age of 18 to 22 who are currently studying at college or university and who have already gained a basic knowledge of the target language. CERAN LINGUA combines an intensive language course with fun practical sessions. The practice sessions include sports, culture, theme evenings and special weekend activities such as canoeing and the like. The perfect way to learn!

Programs - The course is organised around two-week sessions of intensive, residential teaching.
Each day the programme consists of 7 periods:

• 2 general oral lessons
• 1 oral comprehension lesson
• 1 specialist oral lesson
• 1 writing workshop
• 1 lab/e-learning or private lesson
• 1 workshop preparing for cultural activities or 1 period of individual study

Students have the option of complementing their programmes with private lessons in order to satisfy specific needs, such as preparing for an exam (baccalauréat, GCSE, A level, Abitur, DELF, DELE, IB etc.), summarising texts, analysing literary texts, reinforcing the work done in group lessons, addressing certain grammatical weaknesses etc. (1 private lesson per day, 2 or 4 days per week)
Immersion for young people aged from 10 to 18

CERAN JUNIORS courses are organised each year. They are for young people aged 10 to 18 during the school holidays (spring, summer, autumn). French, English, Dutch and German are taught at the Belgian centres. In the UK, we teach English and in Spain, Spanish.
CERAN JUNIORS courses help young people to develop a genuine ability to communicate in a foreign language. Whether practising what they have learnt over the school year, preparing for higher education or to move to another country, a CERAN course is the perfect complement to studies at school.

A programme tailored to age group
There's always plenty to do in a day at CERAN JUNIORS, with learning, leisure and project-based activities. From breakfast to bedtime, there’s not a moment to get bored. All the activities are tailored to the child’s age group and give students the opportunity to put their language into practice.

Complementary learning and leisure activities are all organised in the foreign language. Constant practice means students can learn and have fun at the same time.

Prices – for more information concerning prices you can call on our phone numbers at Meridian 22 Education Abroad. Prices are per week and are all inclusive, covering teaching and socio-cultural activities (evenings), teaching materials, accommodation and full board throughout the course.

Accommodation
Our courses include full board except for weekends. The prices include accommodation in individual rooms in the CERAN centre (with shower and/or bath and WC) or, if not available, in a nearby hotel of equivalent category. Some CERAN centres offer rooms in different categories. In some CERAN centres can, depending on availability, organise bed and breakfast at the weekend if required.
